have stuffed animal, will travel
The turkey found a friend this weekend.
Six-year-old Cierra brought over a stuffed alligator. She'd been assigned to take pictures of it, to document her weekend with the "traveling 'gator," for class. I decided to document the two travelers' meeting. The turkeys don't show up on the blogs much lately, but they're still following me almost everywhere.

a return of the birds
I've added a chick (aka: a poult) to our tiny troupe of turkeys.
I hope he fits in!!
To celebrate the new bird, I decided to start posting here again ... and what better way that with a touching picture of two little turkeys lining up for the toilet.

the bulldog and the turkey
Don't worry. The turkey is safe. He fell out of my car this morning. Dozer lunged. I stopped to snap this picture, but then I jumped in and saved the day.
